What is ATIC?

In Acts 2 the early church is described as having many characteristics, one of which is that everyone in the community
had all things in common (v. 44).  The manifestation of this was the sharing of what each person possessed.

This principle not only offered the practical solution of provision for the people, but also the spiritual solution of protection from temptation as giving from excess kept those with much from becoming greedy and having needs met kept those with little from envy.

Fellowship's ATIC Ministry exists to provide an opportunity to practice living as the early church lived.  In this forum, members and regular attendees
of our body can connect in a network to find tangible goods, work opportunities, training, encouragement, and prayer.

We believe that the family of God functions at its best when its members care for one another.
Join us as we Help with Love, Receive with Dignity and Serve with Grace in ATIC!

As a member of ATIC I agree to:

1.  Keep postings legal & appropriate for all ages.
      This means, for example-
        - no offering or requesting items that are pornographic in nature
        - no offering or requesting alcohol or tobacco
        - no offering or requesting drugs of any kind
          (including vitamins, medicines, etc.)

future access to the site may be denied.

2.  Refrain from expressing political views, spamming or attempting

to use the site as a dating service.

3.  Keep it safe.
I understand it is up to each member of ATIC to personally arrange for

the exchange of items/services.  ATIC Moderators strongly urge that

such exchanges happen at a public place* or in pairs (*The church may

be used as a place to meet but it cannot be a site for leaving or storing

items.)  ATIC assumes no responsibility for risk.

4.  Be considerate.
Once a commitment is made for things to be picked up, delivered or

worked on, make the arrangements happen in a timely manner.

Suggestions for a Good ATIC Experience:

In order to enhance your experience in ATIC, The ATIC Moderators would like to offer a few suggestions:

  • Think creatively You may not realize all you have to offer.  Though you may lack tangible goods to meet someone else's need, you may have muscle to help someone move or time to help someone with childcare.
  • Pray intentionally-  Jesus said that we have not because we ask not.  Pray not only for the meeting of physical needs but also for the spiritual and emotional health of our body.
  • Visit regularly-  The content of our databases will change frequently.  Please be a regular participant so that you won't miss out on an opportunity to do something in Jesus's name!
  • Try repeatedly If you have any trouble navigating the site, please refer to the FAQ section of the website.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve the site or its features.  Feedback is valuable to us!  To send feedback CLICK HERE.
